About Our Ohana

Being so far away from our native homelands, many of our dancers, which are children ages 4 through 23 years old, have never been able to experience the traditional island ways. Therefore, a group of parents formed the Pacific Pride and Island Hearts association in Colorado Springs circa 1997. The association provides children the chance to learn about the Pacific islands through song, dance, and educational activities. The dancers are taught the customs, culture, and language of islands such as Hawaii, Tahiti, Samoa, New Zealand, Guam, Tonga, and Fiji to demonstrate the similarities and differences of the Pacific islands.

With more than 18 years of history, Pacific Pride and Island Hearts brings a first class, spectacular show that your guests will be talking about for years to come. They’ll feel the rhythm of the drums and be mesmerized at the excitement of the music and dancing. It’s a journey through Polynesia, Micronesia, and Melanesia like no other.
